Search giant Google, just launched its latest product Google Voice. VoIP technology that let its Gmail users call to any phones in US and Canada for free. VoIP may have been available long time ago but the innovation came each day. Google introduced the latest product Google Voice through its official blog
Google Voice is not currently available to all users around the world. According to its blog, once “Call Phones” is visible to users’ chat area, they can start using the service but may require to install a plugin if Google Video plugin chat was not yet installed.
Call rates varies from different countries and units. You can check it also to Google Voice ‘s blog. For a matter of comparison to other VoIP provider, Google Voice is way cheaper. [Check comparison here].
Skype is considered as the leading VoIP provider may have been established but Google or Gmail users continues to grow with every month may overtake Skype. We’ll be able to know what will happen in the next coming days.
Meanwhile, since you have a Gmail account it would not be bad at all to give it a try.
