2 suspected killers of Pinay maid in Petaling Jaya arrested

Posted on 13 August 2011 by James Campero

Malaysian police arrested this week two suspects in the killing of a Filipina helper in Petaling Jaya last month, a Malaysian news site reported Saturday.

Star Online quoted Petaling Jaya district police officer in charge Arjunaidi Mohamed as saying a love triangle appeared to have led to the killing of the Filipina, who was not immediately identified in the report.

“We believe that both men, who were in a relationship with the deceased, resorted to killing her because they were jealous,” according to the report, citing Mohamed.

He said the two men were arrested in Jalan Ipoh around 10:15 p.m. Thursday. Also, police seized various items including an iPad tablet stolen from the maid’s employers’ home.

The maid was found in Petaling Jaya’s Jalan Gasing road last July 23.

The Star Online report said police believe they have “wrapped up” their investigation with the arrest of the two suspects.

In a report of AFP news agency, some Roman police had disguised themselves as gladiators and garbage men to arrest some 20 men in gladiator costumes who are threatening tourists.

The detained “gladiators” are reported to have attacked and intimidated competitors, including officers who disguised as their fellow “gladiators.” That’s when the other undercover police moved in.

The undercover police operation was set up after complaints from Italian tourists and tour agencies. The tourists said they had paid a costumed man for a tour of museums in the Vatican and they claimed they were threatened when they demanded their money back because the tour did not take place.

Initial police reports said that the improvised bomb that exploded was planted in a parked motorcycle along road.

Police recovered parts of an 88-millimeter mortar and a Nokia 5110 cellular phone, which, probes said, could have been used as the bomb’s triggering device.

The blast happened even as the police force in the city was placed on a heightened alert due to possible attacks, which usually happen at the start of the Muslim’s observance of Ramadan.

LulzSec attacks again, victim News International websites

Posted on 19 July 2011 by Aeron M. Peterson

News International were down Tuesday after the Lulz Security hacker group replaced The Sun’s online version with a fake story pronouncing the mogul’s death.

Visitors of News International and Sun’s websites were surprised to see the frontpage report saying that the 80-year-old had been found dead in his garden after ingesting palladium but redirected to LulzSec’s Twitter account.

News International, Murdoch’s British newspaper arm, is believed to have immediately removed all of its websites to avoid further problem.

“We have owned Sun/News of the World – that story is simply phase 1 – expect the lulz to flow in coming days,” a message from the group warned.

“We have joy we have fun, we have messed up Murdoch’s Sun”
A News International spokeswoman said the company was “aware” of the attack.
The hacker collective said it was “sitting on their (the Sun’s) emails” and was prepared to publicise them on Tuesday.

LulzSec was also the group who have hacked high-profile companies including Sony and Nintendo.

Earlier this month, LulzSec has been hacked by A-team, also a group of hacker, aiming at publishing information about LulzSec members.

News International has been under fire over phone hacking in UK involving the murdered school girl Milly Dowler as victim
